Amagara Foundation

Amagara Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering rural communities in Western Uganda. Established as a Community Based Organization under the Bunyangabu district local government, the foundation works towards sustainable development by providing education, healthcare, water, agriculture, and climate change solutions. With a vision of inclusive empowerment, Amagara Foundation aims to leave no one behind and create lasting positive change in the communities it serves.

Our Background

Amagara Foundation was founded to complement the efforts of the Bunyangabu district local government in addressing the developmental needs of communities. Registered as a not-for-profit organization, it operates in Kibiito town council, Bunyangabu district, Western Uganda.By focusing on various sectors aligned with the United Nations’ SustainableDevelopment Goals (SDGs), the foundation strives to uplift the lives of individuals and communities through holistic interventions.

Vision

The vision of Amagara Foundation is to foster inclusive empowerment for sustainable development in rural communities. By addressing the needs of vulnerable populations and promoting community engagement, the foundation envisions a future where individuals have equal opportunities to thrive and contribute to their communities' growth

Mission

The mission of Amagara Foundation is to empower communities by providing them with the necessary tools and resources for sustainable development. Through their work, they aim to ensure that no individual or group is left behind in accessing education, healthcare, clean water, agricultural support, and solutions to combat climate change.
